AFRIFLIX Phase 1-8

What is AFRIFLIX?

AFRIFLIX is a Web3 ecosystem for streaming, marketplace commerce, legal/IP services, smart cities, finance, IPO expansion, reserve currency infrastructure, satellite-ready settlement, public APIs, identity, compliance, and governance. SHOAM is the platform settlement token, while USDC is the stable bridge for reserves, swaps, and fiat rails.

How does Phase 1 work?

Phase 1 provides streaming, the SHOAM token layer, NFT minting, marketplace listings, and delivery escrow. Users can watch media, list products, mint NFTs, buy goods, use SHOAM payments, and route transportable products through the P2P delivery system.

How do Marketplace and Delivery fees work?

AFRIFLIX uses tiered fees instead of a flat 10%. Physical sellers pay 6%, 4.5%, 3%, or 2% depending on transaction size. Creator/digital items pay 4%, 3.5%, 2.5%, or 1.5%. Drivers pay 4%, 3%, or 2%. A tiny 0.1 SHOAM minimum fee supports escrow, payout, and dispute operations.

How does the P2P Delivery System work?

The buyer starts an order from a transportable Marketplace product, adds a delivery address and map link, then chooses store pickup or a driver. If a driver is selected, the system matches transporter ads by weight, distance, location, and price. Product and delivery payments are held in SHOAM escrow. The seller confirms handoff, the driver confirms pickup, the buyer releases seller payment, and the driver receives a V Code flow for final delivery verification before driver payment is released.

What is the V Code in delivery?

The V Code is a delivery verification code generated after the driver picks up the product. It stays locked while the package is in transit and becomes active near the endpoint. The buyer gives the active code to the driver, the driver enters it in the delivery chat box, and a match allows the buyer to release the driver payment.

Why are fees tiered instead of fixed?

A flat 10% fee is too high for many marketplace and driver transactions. Tiered fees are more Web3-friendly because small transactions still cover escrow operations, while larger sellers and drivers keep more of their revenue as order value increases.

How does Phase 2 work?

Phase 2 is the legal department. It includes IP registration, smart legal contracts, on-chain dispute resolution, a legal marketplace, legal rights purchasing, and KYC/AML compliance for creators, buyers, lawyers, studios, producers, and regulated partners.

How does Phase 3 work?

Phase 3 is the Smart City layer. It registers cities, mints land and building NFTs, manages property shares, records revenue pools, and coordinates City DAO activity for hotels, hospitals, schools, film districts, and city services.

How does Phase 4 work?

Phase 4 is the Pan-African Finance rail. It connects Afriflix Bank, mobile money, CBDC gateways, payroll, diaspora investment, taxes, SWITCH fiat rails, and AFRIFLIX Swap so local currency, USDC, and SHOAM can move through one payment architecture.

How does AFRIFLIX Swap work?

AFRIFLIX Swap converts USDC and SHOAM in both directions. USDC -> SHOAM powers onramp flows, while SHOAM -> USDC powers offramp flows. It uses the deployed SHOAM swap smart contract, Freighter wallet signing, the USDC asset contract, and the SHOAM token contract.

How does Phase 5 work?

Phase 5 is the IPO, global expansion, and AI automation layer. It includes AFRIX stock records, USDC investor reserves, global city expansion, AI film studio tools, AI city management, AI financial intelligence, and shareholder/DAO governance.

How does Phase 6 work?

Phase 6 is the Global Reserve Network. It treats SHOAM as an asset-backed reserve currency through SHOAM Reserve, Afriflix Central Bank, Trade Clearing, Global Payment Rail, Sovereign Wealth Vault, and AI Monetary Authority services.

How does Phase 7 work?

Phase 7 is the Interplanetary and Space infrastructure layer. It supports satellite payment/data rails, space asset tokenization, off-earth data and AI records, delayed settlement, and Science DAO funding connected to SHOAM, USDC, and Phase 6 reserve rails.

How does Phase 8 work?

Phase 8 is the Public Infrastructure layer. It provides AFRIFLIX Protocol standards, Public APIs, Compliance Engine, AFRIFLIX Digital Identity, Interoperability Layer, and Global Governance so banks, governments, cities, startups, creators, and developers can build on the platform.

What is the difference between SHOAM and USDC?

SHOAM is the AFRIFLIX settlement and reserve token. USDC is the stable bridge used for investor reserves, fiat on/offramps, swaps, and external rails. USDC can enter the system and convert into SHOAM, while SHOAM can exit through USDC before fiat payout.

When is Freighter wallet required?

Freighter is required when a user must sign a Stellar or Soroban transaction, including SHOAM payments, AFRIFLIX Swap actions, smart contract calls, trustline setup, NFT activity, and services that need wallet confirmation.

Are all services real-time?

Services connected to deployed contract IDs, Freighter signing, Stellar/Soroban calls, or backend payout routes perform real transaction workflows. Other areas may show service architecture, compliance gating, or partner/API planning until the required integrations and authorizations are active.

What does the MiCA gate mean in Phase 4?

The MiCA gate means EU/EEA SWITCH rails can be shown for planning, but live onramp/offramp service should only be enabled when a MiCA-authorized CASP or verified regulated partner is configured. This prevents the platform from offering EU crypto-asset services before authorization is confirmed.
